5th Feb. 2013

On Tuesday 5th Feb I led a group of students on a walk from Whitechapel to the Olympic Park. We stopped at Pedley Street for as long as the freezing weather allowed.
It's looking strange - The railway arch has been painted over with a chocolatey brown paint, and then graffitied again, making an odd ground.
The overground graffiti squad use a range of grey paints to obliterate work on their section.
The fenced off area, subject of an architectural competition a couple of years ago is looking pretty abandoned, thought the fence surrounding it has been repaired. There are plastic mesh plates laid into the mud - presumable to stop it getting more and more churned up but vehicles (though none are visible today).
